Thousand Island Lake
I arrived to Thousand Island Lake the prior afternoon, and the sky was covered by smoke from multiple wildfires in Yosemite National Park, and Banner Peak was barely visible. As soon as the sun set, I could see the west to east wind stop, and start to go in reverse. When I woke up the next morning for sunrise photographs, I was ecstatic to see that the visibility was back to what I expected. This photograph was taken as I hiked from the campsite down on the bottom-right of the frame towards the Lyell Canyon in Yosemite National Park.
